Here's the pic Caleb Royer shot for me of the sheep horn knife I finished a while back. Forged W2 with a hamon, mild steel plum browned fittings, mortise fit sheep horn coffin shaped handle.

if ya dont mind me asking, how is the handle put together? is there a spine I mean or two horn pieces.. great looking blade for sure!

if ya dont mind me asking, how is the handle put together? is there a spine I mean or two horn pieces.. great looking blade for sure! The handle is mortise fit. Two pieces of horn, inlet for the knife tang, then pinned and glued together. The back pin and lanyard hole hold the back of the handle together, and the front pin is through the tang of the knife. The tang is a regular stick or hidden tang.
