3" 1's is what I shot in my years up there but you'd probably have to order them. This early in the year you should be good with 2's. Geese and cranes should still be dumb and trying to light at your boot bag. Who are you hunting with?

on Saturday I had solo lonely goose come in while duck hunting and hit it with 3" #2's twice it flinched both times but kept flying so I will be bringing a box of BB with me this weekend!

2 3/4, lead high brass 6's... for cranes only... geese should be in your face so you should be fine with 3" hevi metal 4's

2 3/4" Tungsten 5's or 6's will kill anything that flies within 60 yds. and expect thru and thru holes like you've never seen.
