Love it. Great picture.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Without being specific, was this picture made in the northern panhandle of Texas or western Oklahoma?

Great pic. Tough to find a designated picture taker when the birds are plentiful, everybody wants to shoot with something besides a camera. Trying to get Mrs. Dancewithquail out some this season with my DSLR to get some covey rise shots. I brought it on a one day hunt last week and she has trouble getting it to work - battery wasnt in there, sitting back in the charger in Dallas. Did get this one of the 8 mos old (and Sadie in the background on the same covey) that turned out pretty good being off a small pocketable

That western OK country looks a lot more gentlemanly to hunt too; I went through some broomweed last Friday that was almost arm pit high - tough on man and beast

I agree about the cover, used to hunt the Selman ranch south of Woodward and it was easy going. My lease is heavy shinnery and until we get a good hard freeze the dogs are having to jump through it.

Sadie looks as good on point as any pointer I've ever seen.

NW OK, Arnett is the closest town. Used to hunt a lot at Ellis county PHA. We also had a nice lease east of Arnett around Harmon. Great area.
