I been messing with a Black Widow most of the fall to try to get ready to shoot a bear with it. Bear season came and never got a chance to hunt with it so I took it to the ranch with me. Decided to try to shoot a buck in between other hunters. So I set up a ground blind in a quite little corner of the ranch. Put a camera out and corned it every time I happen to be in that area. Monday morning I slipped in there right before light and it was a experience I will never forget. Had several good bucks trying to feed on the corn but a 8 point kept trying to take over and running every thing out. Finally the buck I was looking came back in a settled in to a spot I could take a shot. I shot him at 7 yards with a land shark broad head he went about 20-25 yards. He is a main frame 10 point with both G-2 split in mule deer forks making him a 12 point.
