Took my two boys before the Thanksgiving break on their first hunt with friends and it was all I hoped for. My youngest said he was not ready to shoot yet but wanted to come along for the fun and to watch the birds and dogs so I take that as a victory. Oldest shot often but did not get that first bird yet, but he had a big grin the whole time and did not get too frustrated. I promised to mount his first when he gets it. We had a blast, the boys loved watching the birds work and decoy in and see our Chessie Myrtle fetch em up. It was also special to practice shouldering and swinging in the field with my son. Memories for a lifetime. I hope they are as hooked as I am. Here are some pics.
