Thanks everyone. Damn this XSight has a lot of cool features I probably already burned through a set of batteries.

An X sight is on my immediate "I want list".

Let us know what you think of it after a few hunts, please sir.

That's a great rig you've got set up! Looks like you're ready to rock and roll in style!

BooneDog, I bought one of the original ATN X-Sights, and suffered through the "new product birthing pains." ATN finally got them pretty well straightened out. I had the bigger Sight, and found that I didn't need all that power, given the fact that most of my shots are under 150 yards; I needed a wider FOV rather than more magnification. So I traded for a 3-14 and have been a most happy camper/shooter with it. I don't use all the features that come with the scope, but it does everything I want it to do, and does those tasks very well! Takes pictures; takes videos; brilliant day time functionality; acceptable night time functionality if you upgrade the stock IR illuminator. Great scope at a great price point! It ain't even close to thermal, but it only costs about a fifth of what an thermal will cost you.

That is good to know. What IR illuminator do you all feel is best for 50-200 yard night hunting?

BooneDog, I have very limited experience with the IR Illuminator products. I only have two: the stock that came with it, and an 850, I'd suggest you send "doubleNaughtSpy" a PM and get some excellent, "subject matter expert" opinion on illuminators! Here's a picture I believe that he posted of the illuminators he has personally built:

Thanks everyone, wish today was Friday so I could get it out in the field. I went with the Evolva T38 IR illumination but it won't be here until next week some time so I'll have to use the one that came with the XSight this weekend.

What aftermarket battery packs do guys use? ATN has one, but an extra $100 and I don't want it mounted on the stock I want it on my rail either laid out in front of scope or on side rail. Was thinking about getting this 20K MaH power bank plus a QD rail section, then milling the rail off or if there is enough clearance for the QD just take the rail section off and JB Welding the battery directly to the QD mount. What says the THF?

Should look something close to this and be able to QD it from rail for charging.
