My buddy bought a box of Remmy CLs for his 243.
keep in mind that both of our 243s are spot on.
His gun wouldn't shoot them good. At best an 8" circle. I shot a few rounds out of my 243 this morning and the same thing happened. I've always shot CLs and never had an issue
My only conclusion is that it was a bad batch.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

Contact Remington and have the batch # when you do. Might get a replacement from them but mostlikely have to send the unused bullets back to Remington. 8 inches is more of a pattern than a group
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

Never seen Core Lockts shoot worth a darn. None that were produced in the last 15 years, anyway.

I'll be the one to disagree. My 30-06 seems to like them in the 165 gr better than any other factory ammo I've tried.

Shot 130 grain corelocks out of my 270 for a few years before I started reloading, I never had accuracy issues with them.

I have to agree, I guess since I did not know any better, that is all I ever bought for my .270 since as far back as I can remember. I still shoot it in my 7mm08 AR10. Yes I do reload but that is where my brass comes from for my deer gun and my LR toy.

I, for one, have had nothing but good luck with CL's. They get a bad rap but not from me.

I shot them for years in my 243. It's not match ammo but it always produced decent accuracy.
If it is shooting an 8" group, id call Remington.

I have had some many problems with Remington 22 ammo. My son in law had a lot of problems out of Remington primers. I guess it makes since to have problems out of the CL's to.
I don't buy the 22 ammo or primers anymore.
I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

Same with me. I check my .270's prior to each hunting season, all are sighted in with the Remy 130's - I buy several boxes a year. The poi never changes from year to year. I won't shoot anything else. Shot 130 grain corelocks out of my 270 for a few years before I started reloading, I never had accuracy issues with them.

I used to use them, but like others stated, they started going south. Accuracy became questionable in .243 and .308. I chrono'd a batch of .308 two years ago and top to bottom was a 150fps spread on 8 rounds. That's not cool. I've switched to Hornady and Federal and will soon be buying strictly from Chad for the .308. Will use the remainder as foulers.

My T/C Encore .270 Win shoots 130 grain Core Lokt great (just under MOA). Have taken a lot of game with that round, from under my stand to 350 yards. Shoot it regularly out to 500 yards at the range. Have tried a variety of "premium" ammo, but keep coming back to the "deadliest mushroom in the woods".
