FIL, my two boys and I are headed Thursday afternoon to the Bois d'arc unit of Caddo national grasslands to camp and hunt. Not the first time hunting there but first time camping and hunting. Hope we get to see something and maybe they can get a shot on something.

Good luck on the hunt. Should have some pretty nice weather.

Was on the bottom side of Coffee Mill all day Sunday, and Monday evening. Only saw 20 squirrels or so. No deer. No hogs. It was disappointing. Would be nice to see one shooter and get some meat in the fridge. Good luck! Hope you and your boys can get on some.

Set up camp Thursday night. Friday morning. Oldest boy with me. Youngest with FIL. They saw buck and doe. Couldn't get shot off on either as buck was hot on the doe's tail. I rattled and grunted an 8 point that was 6" wide in 10 feet behind us. All at Bois D'Arc unit. Friday drive to Ladonia and they saw a buck hauling tail. Saturday morning saw nothing and left early. Still had good time.

Bunch of hunters there. Yes centerfire is okay. What questions did you have?

Yes license and APHP. Hunter orange that covers chest, back, and head and it cannot have a camouflage pattern in it.
