I was at a pawn shop the other day and I seen a Kimber Varmint in 22-250. Stainless with black flutes. It was a pretty rifle. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these rifles before I make the jump in purchasing it.

Thanks,

Lab.

I had an early version of the M84 Longmaster in .22-250. It was a good accurate shooter, looked good, but had an issue with the bolt when cycling. It was prone to bind up when pushing it forward to load the next round. Sometimes it was rather annoying. I understand that later versions fixed that problem. So, I'd suggest doing so rapid cycles to check for fit and be sure it's not "sticky".

Wish I still owned my .243. Very super duper accurate gun it was...

Nailed a T-post at 130-yards one afternoon, and a crow at a little past 150-yards.
