Over the Thanksgiving weekend the family spent a lot of time out at the range, throwing several hundred pounds of lead downrange. One of the more popular pieces was the newly acquired MK IV Target. It got fed a steady diet of Federal fodder (American Eagle; not exactly top drawer ammo), plus some other pretty trashy stuff we had accumulated over the years. All in all, over a brick of 22LR passed through it, and we had no failures of any kind. Best accuracy was realized with Wolf Match Extra, followed by CCI SGB; but everything shot very well. The only complaint I got was that the pistol is "kinda heavy." And this was from a couple of the ladies and younger kids. This did NOT stop them from shooting it, of course! I did not clean the pistol until last night and it was pretty well crudded up with residue, but it cleaned up nicely and quickly. I'm thinkin' I'm lovin' this pistol!

I have a Mark II Target, and it really is too heavy for a carrying around gun unless you got a nice rig to support the weight. I am not complaining, its a heavy barrel target pistol, not a walking around the woods pistol.
