I saw him across a draw a few days ago chasing a doe and his body looked big from about 300yds away. In some of the gamecam pics he looks mature and others maybe 4. From what I'm seeing now it's either him, this 8 with a busted leg or no buck this year which is ok.

I'm in the set up he's been seen at the most, mainly because it's raining pretty good and it's the closest place to camp. Hopefully I'll get a good look at him.

I was asleep in the bunkhouse and heard what I thought was loud bass music over the sound of my heater. I thought I was just hearing things but after a few minutes I stepped outside. Sure enough, it's a radio, so I walk to the top of the hill and see a car parked at the gate, door open and lights on. The gate is about 100yds away so I can't see too good but I lit him up with my light and he got back in car and hauled [censored] while I kept the light on him.

I don't have the sherrifs number handy but may give him a call today. The guy could have just been taking a leak for all I know but he needs to find somewhere else to do it.

The buck I see looks 4-5. He should jump up considerably if he makes it another year. The 8 is 6+ IMO.

If I had the chance to choose which one I'd the 8 and give the 10 another year! But if I saw the 10 I'd be hard pressed to pass on him! This year has been outrageous for antler growth.

I agree with a few of the earlier post here, shoot that big 8.

Take the one with hurt leg, that injury looks bad. Get tofur a big 8 and beat the yotes.

I passed on the 8 three times last week. I'll probably never see him again now.

It's hard to pass those borderline bucks, but you'd be surprised at some of the jumps they will make the following year. I'd shoot the 8 and see what 1 or 2 more years does for the other buck.
