I've had enough problems with Photobucket that I also created a Flickr account. Flickr seems to be much better behaved.

I switched to Imgur for the same reason, seems to work well

If its on your smartphone, try clicking on 5th icon from left at top of quick reply box This is the only way I post pictures anymore except some of the pictures that are already in my photobucket album. I use my Ipad to take the picture, crop it and upload it. The beauty is that you can delete the picture and it will stay on your post.

Now it's saying it can only upload files saved as jpeg or png? They were all taken with my phone, so why would they be different?
