hanging from the back legs, you VERY carefully cut to expose the tenders and sort of roll the gut bag forward. I pull the tenders from every deer and haven't gutted one in probably 20 years.

I always want to pack them especially the big ones that can come over jacket sleeves in the cold but my dad is like stop being a little girl We don't mess with pigs and my fox went straight to the taxidermist so hoofed game is all I get to put my hands on. I've eaten food with dried blood and hair on my hands and never got sick, maybe it's my metabolism or maybe I'm a vampire, but cold water and some scrubbing brings the blood right out. TLDR: no I don't use disposable gloves.

Wearing rubber gloves to dress a deer is kinda like drinking bottled water. If it makes you feel good just do it.

If I ever have to start wearing gloves to clean a deer or a hog I will stop hunting. How did our parents and grandparents ever survive good lord what is the world coming to!! If it's not politically correct it's rubber gloves in the deer woods.
