Here is one that is not in my usual style. My old friend and a good customer, Mr. Smith, ordered this knife to his specifications. He has had at least three others build by other makers in the past 20 years. Everything from the long ricasso with the finger groove, the finger grooves in the handle, the extra curve downward at the butt, all of these features come from Mr. Smith's design. 154 CM blade, stainless fittings, and ivory Micarta. Jerry, this is the Mr. Smith that we have in common, who hangs out at Pond Creek.

Jason, I recognized his using knife pattern right off. It looks like you nailed it just right to me. Good workmanship too. Your work continues to improve, but, alas, there is never an end to what you can accomplish or what is required. You are sure doing good.

Very, very nice. Mr. Smith has good tastes in knife design.
