Ok guys. I'm going to take the plunge. My budget is around $3500. Mostly shooting hogs and varmints in open fields up to 150 yards. Have been looking at Pulsar, ATN, Flir, and armasight... A bit partial to the ATN HD because of on board recording but pretty disappointed in their mounts on the X-sight that I have. Let me know your thoughts and why. Thanks!!!

Used 640 or a pulsar in that range. Armasight Zeus is great too. I'd avoid the new ATN HD. It's a thermal x Sight and has had similar issues. If you're interested I have a buddy wanting to let go of a new pulsar 50 and I have a Zeus 640 listed although it will be out of your budget.

Since you are close, come see me, and look at my FLIR RS32 model. I have had several guys I hunt with buy the FLIR RS32 models, and they work very well in your price range. I get FLIR dealer pricing on these. It's also the model I use for night hunting, and walking to the stand in the early am hours in the deer stand.

It looks like the Pulsar might be the best option so far. Thanks for all the recommendations.
