Had a few minutes to spare so I loaded up a magazine of CCI SGB's and one of Wolf Match Extra's. Shot 5 rounds of each at 10 yards and adjusted the sights to correct an elevation problem; windage was dead on. My off-hand groups were impressive enough that I got out a portable bench and a couple of sand bags, set up at 25 yards, and squeezed off 5 more of each. Both produced one, ragged hole, but the Wolf was REALLY pounding them in there tight!! First impressions on the new Ruger IV are very good. Go find that video that someone recently posted on this thread about the Ruger IV; that guy says it all, and a lot better than I ever could! Methinks Ruger's done dialed themselves up another winner.

That's great shooting. I think the pistol's not half bad either!

That's great shooting. I think the pistol's not half bad either! yeah; those are the kind of groups I can shoot (occasionally) out of one of my seriously scoped 10/22's. Don't see that from any of my iron sighted hand guns. Could be that the blind hog found an acorn this afternoon, but we shall see.

I've wanted one for a few years. This does not help me. Great shooting pistol and shooter!

I'm envious...I can't hit water from a friggin' boat with a handgun! That's great shooting.
