Went to see a couple of my buddies up in Lipscomb county this weekend. They've been telling me all summer about all the quail they've got, so we finally got around to hunting them this weekend.     Boy, they weren't kiddin'! Limits by 2:30 and plenty left for several more hunts. Also saw quite a few pheasants and even a couple of prairie chickens. Overall, another great weekend.

That had to be thrilling. And it will certainly be tasty. What I wouldn't give for a chance to get limit of quail.

Man that looks like fun! Love the GSP's! Did you take the pup? I did not take her with me. The grass up there was so thick, and she still isn't very big. I don't take the pups until I think they're big enough to keep up and have a good time. I'll get her out after Christmas in a little thinner cover.
