I`ve caught several in live traps with live and dead chickens it work well if you have a large trap , bought mine at tractor supply the largest one they carry with a live well in it .

Interested in this as well. Do you brush the trap in, cover the top or just leave open and place chicken in the live side?

Interested in this as well. Do you brush the trap in, cover the top or just leave open and place chicken in the live side? for cats I have never brushed it in just covered the top to keep the bird dry and to keep them from jumping on top and springing the trap. for coyotes and fox I do brush them in on both sides . don't know why the dogs wont go in the trap with out being brushed in . from my experience the cats don't seem to care they are more focused on the chicken . but hey I'm no expert this is just what has worked for me . some may have better ways , I always try new ways to see the response . put a game camera on your trap in video mode and watch how they react , that's what I do.

Bait it with canned cat food. They can smell it from afar and won't hesitate to go for it. Canned tuna works well also.
