We whacked them pretty good the end of last week and over the weekend. Couple ponds we haven't hunted all season put on a show for our clients. Some groups definitely left a good number of opportunities out their for next time.
With the first cold front of the season finally here, we're expecting great things in the coming days. Our roost ponds are steadily building with more and more birds and the cooler temps will make them hungry and easier to hunt. We've heard multiple reports from states just north of us that birds are moving south. The final week/weekend of the first duck split should be awesome!
We have seen a major push of snow geese over the last 3-4 days and they should just continue to show up. The specklebelly numbers are really good and a few more of them should be arriving with the snows.
