Looking for pros and cons looking at add another scope. I see that the SS HD is about the same price on the 5x20x50

What do you have now? (I forget)
What's the new scope going to do?
What's your budget?

Have pst right now and looking to add other for 308 or 6.5 creed and just to have another scope on a different gun. Will be used in hunting and target shooting looking to spend about 1100 give or take.
I saw the ss hd in the Black Friday add from swfa and got me to thinking about it from the Burris. But really like the zero stop on the Burris

Well, I'm about to be no help.
Between the SS 5-20HD and the XTR II, flip a coin. Either will do a fine job for you.

I was in the same dilemma last summer and chose the Burris 4-20x. After one trip to Jason's I am very happy with the choice but depending on what the sale price of the SS HD is Very hard to say.

Nows the time to buy a SWFA SS5-20x50 with Black Friday going on. They are easy to find used on SnipersHide as well for around $950.

Glass - HD, Features overall - Burris, I'm a glass whore, so you know which one has my vote. (I currently own a SWFA 3-15) I often wish I had the HD for those extra 30 minutes after sunset.
