He's been coming to the lease with me since he was 3, but this was only his 3rd sit behind the trigger. He missed a spike opening morning and couldn't get a shot at a mature buck 20 minutes later. Well today was his day and he put a nice shot on this young doe as light was fading. I couldn't be any prouder, just wished Grandpa was here to see his rifle, and his reloads put a smile on the young man's face.

Hoping to do the same with my 10 year old this morning. Had her on a doe last night, but she couldn't find it in the scope.
