Backpack with my thermos of coffee. I cannot focus on my hunting all I can think about is my coffee on this cold morning. Any way it is bit slow this morning in Coleman, the deer have been very actve this weekend, the does are getting pushed, and the bucks are searching.

Gotta finish my coffee at the cabin or it will start a different problem "moving".

Opening morning I got about 150 yards away from the Bronco with backpack and walking staff and thought to myself how free and unencumbered I felt, then realized the rifle was sitting in the Bronco. 'Sure sign I'm getting up there in years.

I have forgot my rifle before and left it at camp, it is a pretty good trip back to camp. On a good note I just seen the best buck so far this year, he gets a pass but had I been in my bow stand I would have flung an arrow for sure.

there is probably a Starbucks just over that rise...

Will they send that to me with an rc drone, that would be nice.

I got into the stand once and realized that I had left the bolt of my rifle back in the cabin. Took it out the night before to dry out after a rain. Fortunately I was hunting pretty close to the cabin.
