I hunt just outside of graham and as of yesterday have yet to see any rutting activity? Anyone else who hunts in the area seeing anything? Usually the 16th is about when ours typically peaks so I plan on getting out there a lot next week.

Last weekend I saw a mature buck walking a fence line with a doe in the field nearby and he paid her no attention which I thought very odd. I saw no other rutting activity. Our lease in Young county the rut is usually first seen around the middle of the month to the third week of season. For that same reason I am headed back out there Tuesday night to get some time in stand before the crane opener.

Saw some deer by the side of the road dead between jacksboro and Bryson this evening while driving to the lease. There might be some chasing going on but so far I have a bunch of doe in front of me and no bucks...hoping that changes soon.

Had a legal 8 about 2.5 chasing a young doe just a few minutes ago. She seemed bothered more than interested. Been an active evening so far. I hope it continues

I've been at my lease since the 15th and have yet to see any chasing. Few young bucks are trying, but I've yet to see full blown rutring activity. Maybe this cold front will get them going. Lots of shooters on camera, but have yet to see one during daylight. Typical Young County I guess.

Saw a younger 7pt under the feeder with a good sized doe on Wednesday afternoon and he paid her no attention what so ever. Any good deer are only at night and I seem to be running a deer daycare center...seen a lot of yearlings and button buck everyday while in the stand.
