I'm looking at this rifle but not sure what it is? Is this a Savage 10 BA Tactical that has had the rail removed or is it a Savage 10 BA Stealth that has had the Magpul PRS stock and Chasis from a 10 BA Tactical put on it? What's the value? The scope is a 10x42 SWFA SS Tactical mil dot scope. Caliber is .308/7.62. I have no experience with precision type rifles but been inking about it and the price point on this one doesn't seem bad.

That is the Tactical. They were selling them for $1800 until the the Ruger Precision came out for 1/3rd less. They just released a Stealth to better compete with the Ruger Precision. The Stealth is selling for $900-1000.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I may just get it then - they are asking $899. I imagine the Stealth is lighter but I like the chasis, grip and stock on this one better actually.
