So do Labs really point? The few I've seen only pause or slow down a bit. Kind of a moving point, if you will. I've never seen one actually point.

I've pheasant hunted with several labs that would occasionally point and hold on point but never hunted with one that would point consistently not to say there's some that want.

Not All Labs point, but certain strains do. Check out some on the internet. I've hunted behind one and it locked up just like a pointer. Check out Blackjack Kennels.

I have a GSP that I've hunted ducks, dove, quail, pheasant, and goose with - great dog. I'm hoping the stars will align and I can duplicate him. Just need to find a worthy bitch!
