I can answer that. The primary call we were using was piglets squealing with sows trying to protect them. The sounds are actually sounds I am helping field test for Glenn Guess. These are newer recordings he has made.

great video and awesome hunt!
Was this sound being played from a FoxPro type electronic caller or was it using some other sort of amplified sound (i.e. phone with speakers)
Would love to get ahold of that sound. I have not been doing much calling lately (mainly due to lack of need) but I think a electronic call for hogs might be great at my current lease. Let me know if you want more field testing for something like this and I can submit my lease as a willing opportunity where there are fields with wide open spaces which would be great for seeing called hogs running, just lie this hunt.

Hey Texas buckeye, the sound is very similar to FoxPro's 'sow protection' call. That and calls involving piglets squealing are the sort of calls that should work most often in the greatest variety of circumstances, as I have been told and have learned. More aggressive sounds like those of boars fighting are last resort sorts of calls as they can actually scare away hogs.

The calls we were using/testing were on loan from Glenn Guess and so are not currently available. However, you can buy the hog sounds from Fox Pro. I believe they come in a package of hog sounds that will include some similar to what I mentioned above.
