My Ugly Stik BWS1101 bailed out on my destruction test early, i had a few more things planned for it before it died, that being the case i might make a part 2 with a different rod. The same rod used in this video has landed dozens and dozens of trophy fish over the 5 years that i owned it and several alligator gar over the 7 foot monster mark before the reel seat broke on it a few months ago and it ended up in this test.

Ugly Sticks are great for horsing big fish out of tight places. They don't give a lot of feel though.

The wife closed the tailgate on mine, it didn't survive that test.
