I follow the seasonal snacking routine around Thanksgiving and Xmas. Whatever leftovers will fit in a Ziploc I can shove in my pocket will go. Looks like I'm going to loose weight this year however if I don't get some rain soon in Cass county. I will have to revert back to deer stand snacks which are a different diet plan. Since I get up so early I still have plenty of alcohol flowing thru my veins so hold off on that unless I need an emergency shot to equal out the system and bring my blood back to a thin level!

I don't eat in the blind, but I have been known to have a Shiner or two. No more cuz we all know what happens as soon as you drop your waders to empty the tank.

Sunflower seeds and jerky is the way to go. I always forget snacks in my blind bag; those don't seem to go bad.

Buccee's Nugg ees are staples too

Got one buddy that brings Whataburger (we meet up at my house around 2:00am), and the other buddy brings MRE's. Always have water in the boat and a few bottles for the walk. Other than that, I always bring a Cliff bar.

I'm a big fan of throwing a whole box of something in the boat. Honey buns, pecan wheels, zebra cakes, basically anything that can be opened and eaten quickly. P.S. things the wife doesn't let me have at the house.

Started making my own beef jerky last year for this reason. I was tired of paying $5-$7 for 4oz of jerky that isnt worth half the cost. Besides that, i have a liter of water and a granola bar or two in the bag. Sometimes a pack of gum or mints to break up the monotony. Used to only be Copenhagen, been trying to kick that habit though. I always want a dip the worst when im hunting, hurts!

I hunt with a guy who washes his clothes in scent killer, forgoes deodorant, and uses scent masking sprays. Religiously. And he snacks non stop while he's in the blind hunting; garlic pepper beef jerky, bbq chips, honey roasted peanuts, kimchi w kung pao chicken, wasabi nuts, bbq brisket, you name it, he eats it. And farts it. Continuously.

Personally, I carry water in a camelbak and energy bars jic. But I prefer not to eat. Hunting isnt a picnic, and it's a PITA poppin one out wearing waders while standing in water up to my waist. Though I have been known to climb a dead tree in flooded timber in an emergency.

My boat has catwalks and I never truly appreciated the benefit of having them on the boat until I had to hang my azz over the side. They make a really comfortable seat..especially covered in hydroturf.

I'm more of a traditional kinda snacker. I like to tear out the heart of my ducks and munch on em when I get hungry, like a REAL hunter

Cigarettes are like hamsters. Perfectly harmless til you put it in your mouth & light it on fire

You too huh? Glad I'm not the only one

We take out the livers and soak in the salt water marsh we shoot them in and let them dry into jerky

Cover that with some marsh mud drizzle
