Lots of does running today, but no bucks so far. Regardless, I got a pretty close encounter with wildlife. This evening i was in box when a fox started chasing rats in grass around me. It caught one, left, and then a different fox sauntered up the sendera. It played around for a bit, walked up to my blind, then climber the ladder! I watched through crack around door - which was closed and latched - smelled me then jumped down and stared up at me before trotting off after a few moments.

I've got photos on phone and will post when I get them uploaded. Very, very cool!

I've had a few different foxes that would walk with me and my dogs or hang out while I was out hunting. They were always killed by the lease hunters. I've only killed two, the last one was because it was coming around and killing chickens.

Yeah, glad the door was latched. Would have gotten interesting if he came all the way in the box.

Tonight I had a doe at a different feeder acting all skittish. Thought she might be watching a buck back in the trees, when out walks a bobcat. I took a photo with phone, but tried to zoom in and it is too pixelated to see anything. Regardless, pretty cool week a watching wildlife, even though I've yet to see a buck.
