Was in Teauge at the farm this weekend and saw our first woodcock of the season. GSP Amos locked up on him and I was blown away he was there so early. Such a cool bird.

They are coming in early at my place this year too compared to past years. Can't wait for the season!
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

They are migratory, so breast is dark meat. To me they are just like a big dove as far as table fare.
