 Hot roast beef sandwich

I'm having leftover pot roast tonight for dinner. I'm a little short on cooked potatoes. I seldom eat white bread with meals but it occurred to me that the old fashion diner style hot roast beef sandwich would make an excellent dinner. Remember them? How would you arrange it? Should I include some fresh broccoli from my garden?

Hot roast beef and brown gravy over toast, open face. Fresh broccoli sounds perfect!

I'm stuffed. It was delicious. I made Texas toast with the white bread.

I cheated a little. I googled for pictures. Most had green beans on there. My broccoli is in so I added that. A plant's mission is to reproduce. Here's a second and third head of broccoli after the primary head was harvested. They will continue to produce.  This is a shot of my two rows this fall.  This is one of my broccoli heads that are ready to harvest.  My turnips are up, they are bulbing, and I got a good stand. Turnips are a lot like carrots in that they will take on several taste depending on how they are stewed. I plan to put some in my next pot roast.
