would have never guessed 300yds. that's crazy It doesn't help mature and young coyotes vary in size complicating the ranting of a critter.

I think coyotes are harder to range at night than hogs. I took one the other day with a new thermal. Thought he was a hundred out but was more like 250 so was a bit off and took seeing the bullet splashes to get on target.
