Saw 8 different deer (5 does & 3 small bucks). Several of the deer hit my feeders multiple times. The bucks were casing a few of the does, but I don't think they're quite ready just yet. Also saw 9 turkey this morning. All of this activity was over by 8:00.

Saw a total of 2 bucks and 6 doe. They all used the same trail and cut across the plot in the same place. Which evades all 4 of my cameras. Crazy

Moved a camera and will be back in the blind at 2-3

Broke for lunch, at Applebees catching Bama game. Just like the Indians did.

Saw a spike this morning with probably the smallest spikes I've seen. I thought it was a doe at 60 yards til I saw through binos from the side. Inch and a half max. He was giving a doe a hard time.
Reminded me of a guy from college. Chase the girls til they give in and pay you some attention

This morning I saw the regular morning crew, does, 4pt. and a button buck. Nothing after 8 o'clock, so about 10 o'clock I turned to THF. 10:15 I saw this post and looked out the window and there was a young 6. A few minutes later a spike walked in. He didn't walk out. My trophy 2 pt.

Young bucks started cursing late this evening south of Athens. Best friend killed his first buck around 7:15 this morning. It was a great day and this is the second time In my life that I have experienced more joy watching someone else get a buck than I would have if I was behind the trigger.

Ended up going out about 5:20 tonight. Buck came out at 5:45 when the sun was getting low. Couldn't tell if he was legal so I let him pass. Started hearing people talking in the woods (game preserve area). Weird hearing people since nobody lives in that direction for a couple hundred acres. About 6:00 I had three antlerless deer come out. I hit them with the light to see if one of them was the buck that had disappeared. The three antlerless deer looked at me and went back to eating. Looking forward to seeing what comes out in the morning.

With that reflector in the top right makes me think you're hunting a county road.

After reading the spooky hunting stories in the open section a briar snagged my foot walking in and I spun 180 degrees firing every round till I was empty

Buck should show up soon

I went out yesterday on sam houston forest. I started to smell a strong musk smell around 10 then it disappeared. About 10 mins later i was interrupted by a couple of guys walking. Stay till around 5. Could stay due to the sniffles every two mins.
