Took the day off and went out today. Had my first encounter ever with a Speckled King snake while filling one of my feeders. Unlike the racer that bit the guy's foot, this snake was very calm, bordering on docile though I did not try to pick it up. Good to have them around for the rattlesnake control element. Hope to see this buck in the background during shooting hours, looks to have good beam/tine length, mass and pretty large looking body from what I can tell.

Not many RAB as you know, did see a nice 10 pt or so early yesterday morning about 4:45 AM on the western end of Runaway Bay on 114 near the golf course. Was pushing a doe from what I could tell.
