Hopefully this is not too political to be posted outside the Bunker. It is just an interview with Donald Trump and his son by Field and Stream. I thought it might be of interest by the folks here. Personally, I like what he had to say.

Sounds like he's going to rely heavily on Donald Jr's thoughts here, which is a very good thing. up

Good interview. However, The Rancher may not care for some of those answers.

Anything said pre-election is just that. Candidates often talk big and pander to their audiences prior to the elections. Now that it is post-election, let's see what he says and what he does.

My hunting partner hunted with Jr for a week in Scotland. They wore kilts together. He is a very big hunter as we know.

If we can get a couple of Supreme Court Justices in place, then more than that!

A few months ago I went to a DSC breakfast where Don Jr spoke. I was very impressed and think him an honest true believer in hunting as a conservation tool.

The Second Amendment had a big win on Tuesday! If anyone here lives in the Rustbelt and flipped those states for Trump thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Great news and prospects for hunters and the hunting industry as a whole, in particular the future of trophy hunting and the conservation of our African game species made possible with the hard earned dollars overseas clients bring into our countries each year.

Amazing how that fact is lost on folks blinded by adoration.

His scotus appointments won't be worse than slimy Hillary's. He WAS anti 2a before the election. Time will tell whether or not he remains true to his new view.

His statements on public land are the best indicator his socialist roots are still intact. Regardless of how many conservative lies he tells.

Given the fact that Hillary wanted to limit our rights on guns, Trump is about as good a choice as we could have hoped for!!!

Uhh no. We had some real conservatives in the mix that would have slaughtered Hillary. Now we're stuck with a weather vane who was the Clinton's best bud when he wasn't campaigning.

I simply don't believe he suddenly morphed into a conservative, and I believe we'll watch him return to his socialist roots over the next year.

He strikes me as a no BS kind of man. I damn sure didn't vote for him in the primary and have no adoration for him. I do think he'll do what he said he would until he proves different. He won and I don't see him reaching across the isle to pander to democrat losers. I think we'll see a lot of the bullsht forced down our throats by the current administration gone the first quarter he's in office. I think this election was nothing less than a miracle and America will get back on the right track.

What is his plan for allowing lion pelts to be shipped back to America from Africa? Didn't Obummer ban hunters from doing that?
