I have the ruger no.1 in the classifieds, took it on trade, have not shot it, just don't like the caliber, thinking a 22-250 w/1-8 twist, or 6mm/br or something along those lines. have heard that you can do some work on the forearm to better accuracy, any thoughts, ya or na

There's supposedly a gunsmith in Bastrop that specializes in accurizing No. 1's. There's something you can do with the spring assembly that's located under the forearm piece.
