This morning I've seen several large flocks of geese fly over the house. Seeing geese headed South just before the NE Texas opener has always bode well for the season. I'm chomping at the bit for Saturday morning. Like a kid just before Christmas

I saw one mile high flock yesterday and heard 2 flocks around midnight last night. You can see them way the hell up there

I heard them in East TX last weekend and heard lots flying over the house here in N TX yesterday evening.

Same here. Saw the large groups right around sunset. Heard a few more during the night. Hoping this is good news for the weekend.
