Jeez. You never tie anything to the back rack of a 4 wheeler to pull for this reason, especially that big. It causes the front end to be light, and want to lift up. I pulled a hog this weekend behind my 4 wheeler and tied it off between the rear tires on the small toe hitch in the back.

I vacationed in Bend this summer. Father lives there. Didn't see any Elk though. Sounds like he will be ok. That can happen with deer too I suppose.
