Saw a couple of bucks w/does this weekend on my ranch north of Del Rio. Usual rut on my place is first week of December. I have owned the ranch 20 years and this is a 1st for me. confused2

We're north of Comstock and the bucks were still hanging out together. We had a 1.5 spike chasing a doe but that was about it.

We're between Mountain Home and Rocksprings, west of 83. No chasing or sign of rut activity last weekend. Bucks hanging together.

We also generally see rut activity at the earliest the weekend after Thanksgiving. 1st week of December is usually the peak.
