Opening weekend has come and gone with no deer to show which kind of makes sense after pulling the card on the camera this weekend. I guess the pigs were bored over the summer so they felt the need to reproduce even more! We did manage to shoot one boar at 4:25am Saturday. Here's what we have coming almost daily. Hopefully I can get out there sometime this week to try to thin them out a little.

I think it's 22 time, anything bigger and you wouldn't fine anything left.

Shoot the sow first. Many times I've shot the soe and her piglets will stay or come back and then you pick off the piglets. I shog a sow recently and her piglets came back to her side four times. I took out four of her piglets before the stopped coming back to her side. May sound harsh, but we're talking about an invasive species that does significant damage.

Drop the sow in her tracks and a lot of times the piglets will stay with her.

I wish I could get my hands on a few RPG's!!! My plan is what a few of you mentioned, shoot the sow first then pick off the rest of them if they cooperate!

This^^^ I always shoot sows. 10 boars can breed a sow 100 times but she is still only gonna have 6-10 piglets, but one boar can breed 10 sows yielding 60-100 piglets.

That or you could buy them a tv roflmao
