Ever get pictures of that deer, you know the one that makes you soil your britches that you never saw before and may never see again? Seems like we have one of these every year that never materializes.

Well we found our candidate for the '16-'17 season.





Pretty sure he did the same thing last year around this time. Showed up for a day or two and never seen again.

Actually have 1 daylight picture... but its only half of his rack... we have hope!

He's a cruiser! Slips in checks feeder sight for doe sign and slips out. Funnest to hunt! We killed one of the best ones we've had. He just started making too many mistakes and a buddy of mine killed him. Awesome buck right there!

That was my initial thought when I looked at him, I didn't think he was very old, still don't.

I don't think I would worry to much about age at this point.

I stated out the window dawn/dusk till I thought my eyes might bleed, if I look any more I might go blind.

Oh we aren't if he comes around when we are there its gonna be bad juju for him provided we can keep our composure.

That is a problem I would like to have.

That's what I hate about cameras see deer all way up to the first of November then poof there gone.

They don't get that big being dumb.

Took a sec and looked back at some pictures from last year, have two bucks I think he is one of them. They both showed up last year Nov 30 and Dec 1 were there off and on throughout the day and that was it for the season. Same stand as this year. Think he is the one in the back.

Don't sweat it. Just give him another year.

My target buck came out Sunday morning for a whole 5 seconds! I couldn't get a shot. Now I can't sleep, don't want to work.....damn it!!

Deer don't get that big because they are stupid. I watched a yearling last night and it was hilarious. She was under the feeder about 60 yes away and my 8 year old shot at a hog out the side window. 3 shots out of my suppressed AR which is still pretty loud, and she didn't even run off. They sure don't do that when they get old!!
