We have shot 7-800 every year for past 5 over deceptions and stuffers. Sometimes both together.

Yea deceptions r the best but it also has a lot to do with how you hide.. And by the time you buy everything it's 10 times cheaper just to hire a guide

I was just checking mine today for any repairs needed. Mine are a mix. About 75 total. I Pick them up used when the price is right anywhere I can. I found it takes numbers of decoys to bring them down within range. With my less realistic decoys it is near impossible to pull birds from the larger flocks, but I do ok with the small groups. I can't afford deceptions. Fortunately where I hunt in Young county, there are not many of the really the big groups of birds like there are further west. Going to be a good year. I had cranes fly low over me several times today while deer hunting. Still a few days till my season opens.
