Got it together and we loaded ammo tonight. Mount is coming in the mail tomorrow and I have a 4.5-14x40 duplex and a 2-7x32 with ballistic plex. I'm kinda leaning to the 2-7x32. With ballistic plex I've always gotten out a yard stick taped it at 100 yds and gone in 2x increments what the drops are. It's worked well for me doing that. Then tweaking the load. she won't be shooting over 200yds with this AR at game.

I think the 2-7x would be a little easier to use. But, I would defer to her preference in any case.

I have a fixed 6x on my 6x45. 2-7x would be my choice of the two, but it may not be hers...

4.5x14 if she likes it.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.
