well I picked up a sig 229 dak in a trade yesterday. never thought Id own a sig, never really thought about spending that much for a carry type pistol. shot it a bit and I love it, I can really see where the extra money went. might be the start of a new appreciation for the brand.

shot great, only got to run a box through it. range is my back yard but its been raining heavily here. I like the dak trigger, very smooth, I carry a kahr cm9 so the double action dosent bother me. held good groups, every shot in a can at 20ft. going to stretch it out when the weather gets better. my only complaint is the da/sa grips on it. going to find some dak grips when I can, I don't like the open slot for no reason, gives entry for extra dirt and crap.

It has to be a jpg image to post it directly through the forum. If it's any other format you would need to use something like photobucket.
As far as the gun, congrats on a great pistol. I used to carry a P226 with the DAK trigger on duty and it was a great shooter. Those Sigs probably fit my hand better than any other pistol out there.

I to also think it fits my hand almost perfectly. just long enough for a full purchase, fat enough to be comfortable to shoot. weather is killing me, want to be out shooting. every time it looks like theres a break in the rain it starts again lol

Can't go wrong with a Sig.

I had a p250 dak and a p226, both in .40. They were both reliable, but I couldn't get into either of them. Absolutely nothing with a Sig, but they're not for me. Glad you like it!
