Been on numerous elk hunts in Colorado and never been able to seal the deal, but this week I was fortunate enough to go on a hunt in New Mexico on a good friend of mine's ranch. Shot this bull at 384 yards. One shot dropped dead in his tracks. Super proud of this bull mainly for the fact that he's the first elk ever killed on my friends place, and that he was so generous as to let me take him! Not mention being able to hunt a little over an hour from home was a nice plus as well.
