I'm curious as too the climate of black rifles and corresponding components and ammo. It was a frenzy last election doesn't seem to have the same hype this go around. What's yalls take?

I voted stays the same based on talking to friends and family and checking local shops inventories on a bi weekly basis

I think everyone is showing restraint right now, but if Clinton wins the election they will lose their minds all over again.

Makes sense grizz, I think if we all realize how the game is played they can't jack with us.

It's already started. Look at how little some of the big online retailers have in stock. It's alot harder to find the rock bottom prices of a year ago too.

Dpms, Anderson, ruger ar-556, PSA, and S&W sport all seem to be had at pretty much same price point. I guess I'm subliminally am trying to calm the minds so we don't lose our minds lol

Add to that, many that made purchases of rifles, that got their fill, and those rifles are still unfired. If they even still have them.

Agreed. Was in Cabelas today. Firearm sales were brisk but didn't see one AR being bought.

Don't know about black rifle sales, but even ABC had to admit the NICS checks were up to record levels in October:

"In October, 2.3 million background checks for gun-related purchases were processed, setting an all-time monthly record, according to the FBI National Instant Criminal Background Check, known as NICS data."

Almost everyone of my buddies who hunts or shoots has bought 1-5 in the past month, and stocked up on ammo and mags as well.

My guess is that there will be another bump in sales. There has already been increased sales in anticipation but since only isolated areas are having any shortages there has been no panic.
Once there are more widespread shortages the real rush will begin.
