A buddy that I used to work with said the same thing. When he got back from the lease, she was gone along with all her things.

If I did that, I wouldn't be able to afford to hunt for the next 18 years or so. Child support on 3 kiddos is a little expensive. I just put a rifle in the wife's hands and got her hooked on hunting. Now I don't have to worry about missing out on hunting, unless I'm working like today.

My wife doesn't play that card, she knew before we were married from Nov til end of Jan don't not to plan or count on me making commitments. However, her and my daughter shop and do whatever women do when I'm hunting so its a balance of win/win kind of but not on my pocket book.
