Not sure who's more excited, me or my 6 year old son. He told me last year he wanted to kill a deer and I assured him that with enough practice, we would do it if we all felt good about it. Been shooting off the bench and practicing out of a deer stand to make sure he could get high enough to get comfortable and make a good shot. He's shooting the same .243 that I grew up with and is absolutely driving tacks with it. Very proud of him! He's still asking me why I made him shoot the smallest one out there. That time will come for the big boy and he'll appreciate it when it does.
For some reason can't get the pic from showing up sideways but there's Pierce! Just turned 6 in July and ready for our next trip to get another one.
