I shot a decent 9 point today in Anderson county on a draw hunt at Gus Engeling WMA. The hunt was all this week. I shot him at 10:00 AM. The bucks were chasing all day this week. Sit on that stand all day!

Only get to sit till about 11 palehorse but hopefully see some action before then

On a side note walking into my blind just now with my headlamp on I came across two bobcat Cubs about 8-10' away. Thy weren't really spooked at all. Even thought about picking one up to take a selfie rofl but never saw mama and figured she probably wouldn't appreciate it

idiots

well made the 5 hour drive back today and was able to get in the blind by 3:30. Nothing, dead as all get out. About 5:15 a fairly large boar comes walking down the south trail, I am watching him in the binos and its getting dark so I say screw it. Thought he was heading for the feeder so had plenty of time. Get the rifle up and he stops, lifts his head and darts in the woods. He probably smelt the the liquor from last night. Its thick down there in the bottom but every once in a while I could see a piece of him in the scope so I sent one but never could find blood, never heard a thump, etc. Meh I was bored and it was just a pig.

Checked cameras after dark, NOTHING has hit feeder except a young 4 point including pigs. Everything is gone.

Opening weekend pressure I guess
