Just ran into these on the Shooters Pro Shop site. This is not their usual 110 Accubond, but a flat base soft point. Anyone have any experience with them? Accurate? Good on game?

Thanks in advance guys!

I saw them too but there is no information on them from Nosler. No idea what they are.

If nothing else, they'll poke holes in paper. I just hope the holes are close to each other!

Isn't that included in their "SSA" line of ammunition? Unless I'm mistaken, they're labeled as "self defense" bullets. That leads me to believe they'd also be fine for hunting medium game (deer, etc). I almost wonder if this isn't a bullet from their "bonded" lineup.

You can e-mail Nosler and inquire (I've done it several times over the years) and they will respond. But it may take a week at times.

I ordered 400 of them and will be loading, and shooting them this coming weekend. I will let you guys know how they do on game. We will be doing thermal hog hunts over-night and I expect to shoot quite a few rounds each night. Even if I have to resort to shooting an already dead pig, I will do so just to see what the penetration is like with the 110's.

I have been looking for an economical soft point bullet for the 6.8. Prior to this I have been shooting the Hornady 120 grain SST's and while they do a good job, we have had quite a few runners that were hit multiple times and just kept going. I know it's always about shot placement but once the herd starts running, you focus on hitting the animal and sometimes it's not a perfect shot, and they will go down, but then get back up and run off when you are not watching them. I will post about their performance.

Found this as well; http://www.nosler.com/ssa-ammunition/

Talk about timing-I got my shipment in today. It says on the packaging "factory seconds" 110 gr. FBSP. They look like they will be excellent pig bullets. I will get some loaded up for this weekend and we shall see how they do. I'm pleased to have gotten them in in time to load some up. I'm truly interested in seeing if there are any on-game differences between the SST's and this bullet.

Thanks Kawabuggy...anxious to hear what you get for results. Ive tried the Nosler 90 Grain Bonded and could not get my rifle to like them. Ive heard mixed reviews on the 110SST as you stated, so anything is grist for my mill right now. Ive got the 110 Accubonds and 95 Gr. TTSXs to shoot well so Im fixed for hunting loads...but Im always open to messing with new stuff!

You should be trying the 120gr. SST's as they seem to be the gold standard. I have not heard of anyone having problems with those bullets in regards to accuracy, or on-game performance (except when related to poor shot placement and that will apply to any bullet). I simply wanted a soft point, flat base bullet, instead of the boat-tail ballistic tip.

I got 20 of the Nosler 110's loaded up tonight with AA2200 @ 28.5 grains, and CCI 41 small rifle primers. I still need to check their accuracy which I will do tomorrow and see how well they shoot. I have until Saturday to figure out a decent load.

A flat base hunting bullet that isn't a partition is an odd offering. I'd like to see a 110-120 Ballistic Tip from them. At 6.8 speeds you don't need a bonded bullet.

Sorry, no bug holes...Im shooting a Rem 700 LTR and I messed with the seating depth a bit. Bottom line was they'd shoot an inch without grunting too hard...which is about what that rifle does with anything. Different POI from the 110 Accubond too, which is to be expected.....
